Excellent Music Resource – Sonic Legends

Got an email earlier this week to check out Sonic-Legends.com. And it’s fantastic!

Excellent source of loopable gaming music, written by gamers! The prices are great and you can score a whole library of music for about the cost of a CD. I highly recommend checking it out. I’ve long extolled the virtues of using music in your games, now someone’s made a resource just for us! My personal favorite: Elven City at Night.

If you’ve got a site you’d like me to check out, please feel free to email me. I’m always on the lookout for new toys (and a link back to yours truly would not go unappreciated).

I got the Sonic Legends Vampire theme from a friend who downloaded it for free when they first opened. It was pretty awesome with really cool vocals…I gotta go back and check out their other stuff now.

Why WOULDN’T you check this out? It’s like having your own personal DJ for gaming — amazing sound — actually intensifies the game… it’s cool.

  • Carlos:

Some of your video games will let you rip their sound files to your media players. Age of Empires and Galactic Battlegrounds work great.

Agreed. Anything by Jeremy Soule has two thumbs up from me. Check out his work from Total Annihilation to Morrowind and more.

  • Kreosha Lavoria:

Awesome tip. Going to throw some of the gaming budget at this!
