The Classics – Adventure Maps
Three classics today, each a 40×40 inch adventure map to baffle, bruise, and bewilder your players. These do not have actual adventures to go with them, that’s your job.
Be sure to give yourself lots of space and print out any furniture, traps, or other items to fill up said dungeons.
Temple of Amon-Ra
Brave adventurers take heed: For a millennium, the temple of Amon-Ra has stood silently keeping its secrets from those unworthy ones who dare defile its sacred halls.
1600 square inches of gaming goodness! An entire desert temple waiting for whatever horrors you wish to inflict upon your players. Get it and the Desert Temple terrain for even more fun!
Urzon’s Warrren
Dwarven chieftain Urzon Stonesmasher was equally renowned for his stone smithing as he was a crafty tactician. His “warren,” as it became known, saw the end of more drow, duegar, and orcs than history could possibly record. Ambushes, traps, and general confusion awaits anyone foolish to trespass.
Another 1600 square inch miniature map! The main feature of this dungeon is its twisting and turning passages that deny archers and spell casters a good line of sight shot. Be sure to use this advantage to whoever (and whatever) inhabits the Warren. Combine with the Cavern Floor terrain for even bigger dungeons!
Vyrax’s Lair
A foul stench fills the massive corridors as the adventurers press deeper into the cavern. Deep claw marks scar the surface. The party pauses to examine something crumpled in the corner. As they uncover the gruesome remains, an icy chill drops into the pit of their stomachs. A dark shadow falls over them. Their screams are lost amid the labyrinth.
Using wider corridors and passages, this map will allow Dungeon Masters to use creatures up to Huge size (3 squares wide) throughout. The larger rooms will also allow even bigger creatures, though they won’t be able to move around.
Compatible with the Dragon’s Lair terrain set.
I love these maps. I laid them out for my players and their eyes nearly fell out of their heads with astonishment. Then the drooling started as to all the area they would cover that night. Turned out it took us five game sessions to get through just one!
Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!!!
Classics indeed!
This is going to give me months of gaming possibilities!
