D100 List: Family Mottos

I know it’s pretty out-of-the-norm for a list, but I think it’s one of those things that really adds spice to a clan or powerful family. Wherever possible, I’m offering them in their original language (usually Latin) to add further spice.

New Theme & WP Version

Did some upgrades to WordPress and decided the old YellowJacket theme just wasn’t doing it for me. Hope everyone likes the new Greenline theme. It’s a lot wider and I’m really liking the two sidebars instead of one.

In other news, it was just brought to my attention that one of the downloads (3D Columns from Stone Kingdom) was locked and wouldn’t print. My fault entirely, but the bloody thing had been downloaded over a thousand times before anyone mentioned it! (BTW, thank you Scott) If you spot a problem, let me know. Trust me, my ego isn’t that fragile.

Finally, I’m running low on ideas for D100 Lists. If you’ve got an idea, kick it on over my way. I’ll do the work, just need a starting point.

Anywho, that concludes the latest site update. We now return you to your regularly scheduled game session…

Dungeon JPG Sets, Part 1

These are the old base tiles done in JPG format. It’s a one-time offer. I’m not keen on sending these out, but they’ve been requested and I’ve already done the work.

Simple request: Do not use these in other products without permission. Thanks.

All Roads Lead to…

I haven’t done a review of any sort on this site in several years, but I thought I might bring them back once in a while. Today I’m giving a thumbs up to the late HBO TV series “Rome.”

Lasting only two seasons, it follows the lives of both the heavy hitters of the Roman Empire and a few “commoners,” just before the turn of the millennium (circa 44 BC). I’ll warn you now: It’s violent, graphic, and explicit. If it were shown in theaters it would be R, possibly NC-17. But it’s not offensive like say “Deadwood.” Continue Reading »

Countdown to #100

This week marks #75 on my downloads. Next week and the following week I add over 10 more downloads (the old JPG copies of the tile sets).

So…that means #100 will be coming in a few months. I want suggestions for what you want to see in #100. Something big. Something huge. Something awesome! Let’s hear those ideas! Comment on this topic, or email me. Either way is fine.

Stone Kingdom: Platform Pack #1

fantasy 3d paper terrain platformIf you grabbed last week’s platform pack, you know what you’re in for in this one.

Same sizes (2×2x1 and 2×2x½), these pieces are meant to add some height to your otherwise flat campaign worlds. Like last week’s download, the 1 inch high platform can be turned on its side for even higher platforms.

Stone Kingdom - Platform Pack #1 (394) - 385.78 KB

I’m looking for some “in-action” shots of your miniatures with the 3D (or even the 2D) terrain. The idea for a user-submitted gallery has long been of interest to me, so send in your photos!

D100 List: Furnishings & Items (Modern)

Happy Independence Day!

This is the last of the three room-building lists, and (I think) the first Modern-oriented piece of content. Continue Reading »
