Photo-Realistic Stone Maps

Based on some free stone textures I stumbled upon today whilst browsing around.

Figured some people want some realistic looking terrains for their games and these are based on photos or pretty close approximations of photos.

I’ll warn you now, they are big and need a good printer to look right. If you do print them, I suggest lamination or contact paper to keep them in good shape so you don’t have to print them again.

Back into the Mines!

Right now, I know there are 33 guys in Chile that would probably rather fight a Great Wyrm Red Dragon than get back into a mine, but after seeing their harrowing ordeal and joyous rescue, I thought this set might be something gamers might want to see again.

Stone Kingdom - The Mines (6727)

The entire ordeal brings to mind several possible encounters and a complete adventure. Sure, some races are equipped, nay, bred for life underground, some are not. In fact, some characters and races will have adverse reactions to prolonged time underground.

Stone Kingdom – Sunstroke: The Shifting Sands of Al-Hakam

Download the dungeon tiles for Sunstroke, a desert themed pack for RPG miniaturesNew desert dungeon tiles! The original set was pretty hastily thrown together as part of a larger 40×40 adventure map. This one is a full set with tile floors, stone floors, and desert sand.

It’s also a hybrid set, featuring both 2d and 3d paper models. There are foldable paper models of stairs, platforms, and an obelisk (with three different styles).

I know it’s tooting my own horn, but this is a pretty cool set and will fit with any Egyptian (or similar theme).  Anyone out there still gaming with the Al-Qadim setting for Forgotten Realms?

Pulp fiction lovers can go all Indiana Jones with this set. It will also work for all the Prince of Persia knock-off games I envision coming after the new movie hits theaters this summer.

Print and cut carefully, and don’t forget to send me your photos!

The Classics – Adventure Maps

Three classics today, each a 40×40 inch adventure map to baffle, bruise, and bewilder your players. These do not have actual adventures to go with them, that’s your job.

Be sure to give yourself lots of space and print out any furniture, traps, or other items to fill up said dungeons.

The Classics – Castle Construction Kit

I’ve had a few requests for Castle terrain pieces, and there already is one. People, don’t be afraid of the Search box up top. In the meantime, here’s an oldie-but-goodie, the Castle Construction Kit. It’s nearly 40 pieces of castle building goodness.

Castle Construction Kit (17735)

Along with it, I highly recommend the Add-on pack for furniture and other useful stuff.

Construction Kit Add-On Pack #1 (10964)

All the tiles are the standard 1-inch square you’re used to and will work with the newer Stone Kingdom series.

Stone Kingdom – The Mines

mine_sampleWhat’s a fantasy adventure without a trip into some forgotten or monster-overrun mine?

Rail tracks, pools of water and lava, chasms, bridges, and more await you and your party. There’s also several large Plain and Cracked dirt terrain pieces to play around with. It isn’t pretty, but it’s extremely useful.

Stone Kingdom – Ice Dungeon Terrain

I debated on whether to make this Stone Kingdom, Mean Streets, or Starbase Omicron. It works for any of them and is compatible with all, since you could encounter ice terrain in any time period or genre.

Download, print and cut in to the shape or shapes you need.
