I feel kind of silly for not thinking of this list sooner. I mean, terrain is the primary function of Dungeoneering. Isn’t it?

Use this list to randomly create areas as your players wander your game world.

I seem to be on a Starbase Omicron kick of late. Two in a row, this one is similar in use to the Pipes download from last week. Why conveyor belts? There always seems to be conveyor belts in Sci-Fi movies and games. Virtually every FPS has a level with them and they feature prominently in “Star Wars: Attack of the Clones.”

At any rate, why do you need an excuse? You’re the Game Master!

The first of hopefully many Game Guides. These are meant as system-agnostic guides that can help you flesh out your game world.

This issue is Sailing Jargon. Make your salty seadogs sound even saltier! Sailing is a specialized world full of unique words. Keep your players off-balance while they’re on-board ship by having the crew talk authentically.

sci-fi pipe, ducts, conduitI’ve neglected Starbase Omicron long enough. Here are some deck add-ons to add flavor to your favorite ship or space station. Use these for piping, conduits, or ducts.

Features straight sections, turns, junctions, and valves. Also has a few “cracked” pieces for damaged sections.

A new feature for this download is a fully finished sample deck. It’s an 8×10 map built using this set and a few other Starbase Omicron sets. Enjoy!

How many times have you given your players a room with a bookshelf and they want to know the title of EVERY FRAKING BOOK?!

Now you can answer them. I’ve tried to mix a little humor in with some reasonable sounding names. I leave it up to you to decide what’s actually in the books.

Because castle turrets are not square! At any rate, now you can cut and build rounded corners and rooms for your castles and dungeons.

The maps come in a variety of shapes (circles and rounded rectangles) and sizes.

Get some sun. Or rain. Or snow. Random weather to throw at your players.

It’s only one month until the release of the new and improved Dungeon & Dragons. If you haven’t done so yet, you can pre-order the books from Amazon.com.
