Taking a Break

I’ve been too busy to get any serious work done on the terrain sets, and the last few have been met with less-than-kind words. Sorry gang, I’m swamped, and let’s face it…they’re free. Maybe I’m just cranky since I rarely get positive comments, almost only negative.

So, I’ll be taking off from working on most Dungeoneering stuff. I’ve got deadlines, a play, and NaNoWriMo coming in November so they’ll occupy me fully. The next download is #100, so I want to do something extra cool with that.

Stay tuned for more downloads coming soon.

  1. Hey,
Ignore all the negative comments about your work. The primary thing that matters is that people are downloading the tiles and tools and using them in their games. Your stuff has brought joy and adventure to more people than you know. Keep up the great work.

  2. I’m here to say , please keep your chin up, I just disccovered your site a few weeks ago and fell in love! Almost everything in the Stone Kingdom set has been very helpful and my players have loved the stuff you do. Please don’t stop what you’re doing. I for one am very grateful and appreciate your organization, hard work and creative flair!

  3. Seriously!! I just found this site today (and quite by accident)!! I’m still going through all the previous goodness but it’d be a shame to have you quit! I for one appreciate your work 🙂

  4. I’ve been silently using your stuff for years and love it. Of course it’s not going to THE BEST out there as this is a hobby for you and not a business. However, the work you put into your hobby still shows and the quality compared to the cost (FREE!) is unmatched by any other free tile sets I’ve ever come across. I’ve paid money for tiles less useful than yours. Fact is, the internet is glutted with naysayers and they’re the ones most likely to leave comments. I’m sure there are plenty people, myself included, who are perfectly happy with such a good quality, accessible, alternative to expensive tiles.

  5. Ignore the trolls, they’re wads. You put alot of effort into something constructive and needed by quite a few people. If they put as much effort in to something equally productive they wouldnt have time to troll. Your stuff is a godsend for alot of folks.

    Keep up the good work

P.S.. water tiles would be sweet,,, maybe a pale blue.

    thx again

  6. If this is just a trick to get people to say they love you well….

  7. It wasn’t a trick. I was just PO-ed about the responses I was getting to free terrain. Glad you’re loving the stuff that’s up there.

  8. i really appreciate all the work you have done, i have not played d&d in a long time, and getting all these terraind and everything is beyond words. anyone bashing your work simply sucks at life, keep up the good work, you have my praise friend.

  9. Dude, I totally understand your time constraints. What you have done is amazing. As a law student I never have time for this stuff anymore, but my kids are coming of age and I want them to enjoy it. So yes, what you have done has provided me a great service.

    God Bless.
